WOLLONGONG City Council has started a new project aimed at increasing economic development and expanding the types of business and services in Dapto.

A survey of business owners' needs and future plans is being conducted. General manager David Farmer said "individual comments and plans will be treated in total confidence, but combined we expect the information will be of great value in solving local problems in Dapto, planning for the future and marketing the town more effectively".
